FIELD CARE

Field care is the first step to ensure you will have a quality mount. Different species needs different care. If you have questions please contact us.

Preferably freeze the fish in a block of ice. If that is not an option, wrap fish in wet towel protecting the fins and freeze.

Place mammal in freezer lock bags and freeze.

Place cape in contractor bag, covering ears and antlers. Place bag and cape in cardboard box and freeze.

Place head underneath the wing.  Place a wet paper towel around the feet to prevent freezer burn. Do not bend the tail and feathers. Place in 2 freezer lock bags then freeze.
